BYLAW 1: STANDING COMMITTEES
Standing committees serve a two-year term to perform ongoing tasks.
BYLAW 2: FINANCE COMMITTEE
The president shall appoint 2 members with the experience and knowledge to assist the Treasurer with the oversight of the Councilís finances with findings reported to the Executive Board.
BYLAW 3: NOMINATING COMMITTEE
Each July the Executive Board shall appoint one member in good standing from each district to receive the nominations of officers from all Members and Chapters. The Nominating Committee vets all candidates ensuring each candidate is willing to volunteer and meets the qualifications described in these bylaws. The Nominating Committee presents the slate to the membership at the annual business meeting.
BYLAW 4: AD HOC COMMITTEES
The President may create such additional committees, and its members, as deemed necessary to complete the goals and functions of ACB of Oregon. Members serve 1 year, until the January reassignment. The President can replace committee members as necessary.
BYLAW 5: MINUTES
Each committee shall submit a complete and accurate report of its activities to the Secretary.
BYLAW 6: EX-OFFICIO STATUS
The President or his representative shall be an Ex-Officio member of all committees except the Nominating Committee. Their attendance shall not be counted towards the meeting quorum.
